Hight Family

Talk about a fun session! These girls are so fun! and photogenic! I know their mom, Katie, from church where she is on staff. She wanted a photoshoot of just the girls and her, so last Friday that is what we did. We went out to Fabyan Forest Preserve and it was so pretty there! There are Japanese gardens that were gorgeous! It was sadly closed but the rest of the park was beautiful! You can see that these girls are little divas who love the camera :.

This was their idea,"Lets do ninja poses!!" Then it turned to model poses haha

As a side note, I got photoshop cs5. Who knew it was so exciting to use templates and actions!

I fell in love today...

..... with a darkroom!!! haha had you there for a sec probably :) But I am in my first photography class at ECC and its the first time I have ever used film. Quite an adjustment for me from digital! But in the class I'm one of the slowest ones in the class because pretty much everyone has taken photo in high school so they have some experience. But not me ! This morning in class I was almost in tears because I had no idea what I was doing! but some of the girls in my class were so kind to help me out! after I started actually getting stuff to show up I was freaking out haha I am so weird but I was just so excited that it was working! after a few hours I was having so much fun! Now I see why so many people have a love for darkrooms and film. I didn't want to leave! but luckily I have it for many more months :) but I am so excited! So I just wanted to share my new love interest today haha I want to start taking the film camera on shoots and get some!! Here is my fav that I developed. Not a big deal but I lovee it cuz I struggled so much!

Today I was driving and this song came up on my Ipod. Haven't listened to it in forever but the lyrics really touched me today! I love it and this song is so full of truth! Meditate on this with me today as Christ is everything!

Brennan and Brady

Last week I got to go a take pictures of my adorable cousins Brady and Brennan. It was Brady's month pictures so we headed to a park near by! Brady is so cute and just look at those blue eyes! He looks so much like his mom :) Brennan was having a good time with his dad so we also got a few of him too! They tend to run when they see me with the camera but I think we did pretty well!

First Post! Olivia!

Hey everyone! So this is my first official post on the new Sabrina Marie Photography blog! I'm so excited for this because now I can share my sessions and background information on all the wonderful people I shoot!!

So this gorgeous girl is Olivia! Take a guess on how old she is because she looks like 5 years older than she is :)

I have the wonderful honor of having Olivia in my smallgroup at church in Genesis. She is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met! Always trying to help others and is a girl who knows how to love! She also knows how to laugh which I love! Our session was filled with crazy faces and tons of laughter. I'm glad her mom came with too because she was awesome!! Enjoy!
